In 1989 while working with Reed Fire Equipment , John Bevalaque started Bevalaue Maintenance Company as a means to work as an independent contractor for Larger companies such as American Fire & Safety of Ridgeland and Reed Fire Protection of Ridgeland. While working with these companies John Bevalaque worked nights with a company called O.T.S.
OTS was one of Mississippi's largest fleet truck washing services. John Tucker and John Bevalaque worked side by side at night and on weekends washing trucks for companies such as Abetco, United Van Lines and Bekin Movers.
In Early 1991 John Tucker , John Bevalaque and James Barker the former operator's of OTS and Reed Fire Equipment started in the vent hood cleaning business, one of our first accounts was Popeye's Fried Chicken. By 1992 Bevalaque Maintenance Company , OTS and Reed Fire were the leading companies in Mississippi for vent hood cleaning , auto detail,fleet truck washing,Pyro-Chem Fire Suppression Sales, Fire Extinguisher service and recharges, as well as the main company for off shore service on the Mississippi River.
In 1993 Reed Fire and OTS Became American Fire , Bevalaque Maintenance Company worked for 3 more years with American Fire until finally leaving in 1996 to open its own doors as Bevalaque Maintenance Company INC.
In 1997 Bevalaque Maintenance company joined with Hydro-Clean Services and International Fire Protection and recieved Ansul Training while working for these companies.
In 1999 Hydro-Clean was sold out to Hydro-Clean of Jackson in which Bevalaque Maintenance company stayed on to help train the new owners on facts such as how to clean vent hoods and the proper way to service and recharge fire equipment.
In 2002 Hydro-Clean of Jackson and American Fire Protection were the two lagest fire equipment companies in Mississippi.
Bevalaque Maintenance saw a future in not only Vent Hood Cleanings and Fire Protection but other products and services as well.
B&R Fire Protection ( a sub of Bevalaque Maintenance Company ) was opened the end of 2002 . Our Owner , John Bevalaque, has serviced over 400 accounts in the state of Mississippi annually.
